How do I book?
Tap the services you'd like on the price board, then "Review and book". Your list opens in WhatsApp, ready to send. We reply with a time that suits you.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit of 30% of your booking secures your time, paid by card or EFT. We send you a secure payment link on WhatsApp, and your time is booked as soon as it is paid. The deposit comes off your final bill.
What if I need to cancel, or I'm running late?
You can change or cancel for free up to 24 hours before. With less notice, the deposit is kept. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we'll move you to the next available slot.
Do you come to my house?
Yes, anywhere in Johannesburg and Pretoria. The travel fee depends on distance: R100 up to 10 km, R180 up to 25 km, R300 up to 50 km. The minimum spend for a home visit is R300.
Do I need to bring my own braiding hair?
Our hair prices assume you bring your own. If you'd rather we supply it, it's R60 a pack. Tick the option when you review your booking and we'll work out how many packs you need.
Why do some prices say "from"?
Hair prices depend on your hair length and thickness, and on the style. We confirm the exact price on WhatsApp before your appointment.
Do you offer training?
Yes. DKJ Academy runs short, hands-on courses in acrylic tips, gel tips, eyelashes, manicure or pedicure, with a certificate of completion. See the Academy page for prices and dates.
